I thought you might be interested in finding out a little about the Designer. Yes?
I have done some sort of Art or Craft since I can remember. I have worked as a Craft Teacher, a SilverSmith, a Prop Designer for a major supplier to the Movie Studios in Hollywood, am a world class beadworker and now, Website Designer. I have been lucky in all my endevors and have always learned from my experiences. (Some I would not care to repeat though.)
I do not have a degree in anything except life and am satisfied with that for the most part. I am self educated, self taught and I read constantly! Anything from Manuels for software to Novels, self help books, Metaphysics, Psychology and Quantum Physics. (My favorite is Hyperspace by Michio Kaku.) Reading is good for the soul and brings enlightenment. I am fortunate to have so many good books around me.
I enjoy my life and am pretty contented at this point, but am always striving to learn new things and climb "new mountains". So, I guess the natural progression of things for me is to acquire knowledge and "boldly go where no man has gone before". Considering I am a woman, that is not too hard. No offense intended guys!
I have been self employed before in the business of Native American Arts and Crafts and I was very happy to be my own boss. Again, the natural progression of things in my life so far. I enjoyed being a "Trader" and learned many things from my association with the people I met while in that business. Unfortunately, we were robbed and not insured. That was the name of that tune! So ended the Trading Post, gone but not forgotten. I really loved that place with all my heart and soul and miss it terribly at times, but now we are in a new chapter of this little "book" called my life. The Trading Post might be gone but not the people I met and those are really the most valuable, yes? I have been lucky to have so many good things in my life.
I have two daughters. One is in College and doing a wonderful job as a working mother. The other, we lost in 1994 to complications of Lupus. Both of my girls gave me grandsons who I adore and am learning about the "little boy" thing. They are wonderful boys full of life and bring lots of laughter and sunshine with them when they arrive on any scene. I am a lucky woman, yes? Yes!
I have many friends. Old friends, new friends, family friends and web friends. I love and I am loved. I am lucky.
I am married to the most wonderful guy in the whole world. (Sorry girls! He's taken!) And for some unknown reason, he seems to be deeply in love with me! He gives of himself to the people and me selflessly. I am the luckiest woman in the world!
To sum it all up...
I guess you could say, "I am a Fortunate Bear."
Thanks for stopping in to find out about me and ...
